Soul of the South Network to air Premiere Basketball League games
(December 6, 2012) Beginning next year, The Premier Basketball League
will be broadcast on the new soon to launch network, Soul of the South
Network. The PBL, is a men's professional basketball minor league that
began play in 2007. The Premier Basketball League has raised the bar on
minor league Men's Professional Basketball with outstanding players,
diversified teams and top level competition.
Soul of the South will broadcast over 18 stations in 11 markets reaching
over 95 million Americans and allowing 62% of African American
households access to original programming customized specially for them.
Along with this original programming, the network will also broadcast
both national news and daily customized local news.
"It's an honor to be the first professional sports league to be featured
live on the Soul of the South Network," said Dr. Severko Hrywnak,
Chairman of the Board of The Premier Basketball League. "We look forward
to showcasing The PBL talent and top level competition to a whole new
audience."
In March 2013, The PBL will be entering its 6th season which coincides
with the official launch of SSN TV. With this new partnership, PBL fans
will be treated to an action packed game of the week on live television
on a major television network.
