IMAGES USA grows its client roster, staff
and office space
(December
8, 2005) The recent signing of three new accounts as led to the
Atlanta-based marketing communications agency, IMAGES USA, to make
additions to its staff and expand offices space.
Three new clients, AOL (America Online), AstraZeneca and Teligence, have
been added to the agency’s roster. Ricki Fairley-Brown has been hired as
vice president of Strategy and Planning, Jason C. Williams is the agency’s
new vice president of Client Services and Robin Phillips, has joined as
the agency’s first tourism specialist.
“IMAGES has grown steadily since its beginning to become one of our
nation’s largest multicultural marketing communications agencies,
continuing to provide quality advertising and marketing support to deliver
ROI that outpaces the competition,” said Robert “Bob” McNeil (above).
“Securing this caliber of experience and talent is a testament to the
solid performance of the entire IMAGES team.”
Prior to joining IMAGES, Ricki was awarded for her out-of-the-box
strategic marketing efforts at The Coca Cola Company. Furthermore, she was
vice president of Marketing for Chupa Chups USA. For IMAGES, Ricki manages
the strategic and account planning activities, collaborating with the
agency’s leadership team on business-building strategies, and building a
team of astute marketers that will nurture current long term client
relationships by over delivering against their business objectives.
In his capacity as vice president of Client Services, Jason is charged
with managing IMAGES’ account service and public relations teams. Most
recently, he owned and operated full-service marketing communications
firm, Gelignite Communications. Before that, Jason held vice president
positions with William Mills Agency and Edelman Public Relations
Worldwide. He also managed projects for public relations firms, Hill &
Knowlton and Cohn & Wolfe.
Robin brings more than 20 years of experience in the travel industry to
her new position as tourism specialist. Her experience includes sales
representation for international airlines and major international
operators. She will offer strategic analysis and support for the agency’s
thriving travel and tourism practice.
The agency’s recent fortune has also stimulated internal growth as Justin
Jordan has been promoted to art director; Michelle Browner, executive
assistant to the president; and Wyatt Jefferies, public relations
coordinator.
In addition to the executive and staff expansion, IMAGES recently acquired
1,365 square feet of additional space that will allow IMAGES to spread its
wings and soar to even higher heights.

'Buying Power' report shows black consumers spending more on home life
As the American economy continues to move sluggishly,
African-American households are curtailing their spending in many
categories, including food, clothing and basic household items, while
investing more in home repair, home entertainment and consumer
electronics. Although they are trimming back, black consumers are still
spending more than their white counterparts on most of these products.
According to the newest edition of “The Buying Power of Black America”
report, African-American households are tightening their belts when it
comes to dining out, expanding their wardrobes, and leisure activities out
of the home. At the same time, they are increasing their spending on home
