African-American
race driver offers sponsorship in eBay auction
Mark C. Lowrey, 2003 ARTS Rookie Of The Year and accomplished All Star Race Truck Series Driver is no stranger to the world of auto racing. He has acquired hundreds of laps at race tracks all over the Southeast and is currently a racing instructor at The Buck Baker Racing School. Over the years, Mark has gained undeniable skill and proficiency in his racing, along with the confidence and overwhelming drive for personal success. The only thing he lacks is the sponsorship needed to propel him through the 2006 Arca/Remax Racing Series and on to his dreams of a major Nascar Nextel Cup. However, being an African American attempting to penetrate the world of motor sports isn't exactly easy. Despite the fact that auto racing is one of the fastest growing sports in the world, with endorsements and contracts growing to an all time high, African American drivers are not yet a significant percentage of that growth. Nascar has recently implemented a cultural diversity program within it's Caucasian dominated sport. Nonetheless, few sponsors are beating down the doors to back African American drivers. JK Entertainment Inc., a minority sports entertainment agency, seeks to change that. "Bringing Mark's talent and winning track record to the forefront helps to promote minority drivers everywhere. We encourage major corporations interested in promoting and branding their name in motor sports to look into this untapped minority market, which has billions of dollars of buying power." Despite the challenging road ahead of them, Mark and JK Entertainment Inc. have gained the support and positive motivation from companies and individuals all over the nation. "The corporate inquiries and media interest have been very encouraging," says Jay Colavalla of JK Entertainment." We feel strongly that having the right presence at the right time is a big factor in finding the perfect sponsor for Mark." This is why the eBay auction fits perfectly with their quest for sponsorship. Advertising opportunities are a hot commodity these days on eBay. JK Entertainment Inc. feels they have devised "the best advertising package on eBay." The winning bid will serve as the cost for test qualifying for the Arca Daytona 200 Race on Feb. 11th-18th, 2006 in Daytona, Florida. This race runs in unison with the Daytona 500, which is one of the most prestigious race events of the year. As the official sponsor, the winning bidder will be included in all press releases, media interviews, and photos in addition to having their name and logo placed on the race car, racing suit, hat, driver card, and any other marketing materials used. Televised coverage of the event will include Speed Channel, ESPN, and Fox Sports, ensuring the sponsor national coverage. Complementing the winning bidder's advertising potential, the auction comes complete with "one beautiful spokesmodel" that will serve as a human billboard during the three day event. Tana Gabrielle, the official spokesmodel for Goldenpalace.com will be on hand to advertise at the winning bidder's discretion, by wearing a temporary tattoo or company hats, shirts, etc. Tana, a bikini and fitness model for magazines such as American Curves and MuscleMag International, is also known for her body advertising stunts with the infamous online casino, GoldenPalace.com. The eBay auction is only the beginning in helping Mark C.Lowrey realize the dream of becoming the first African American to win a major Nascar Nextel Cup race. JK Entertainment Inc. is committed to presenting the very best partnership opportunities to all potential sponsors. They are confident that this groundbreaking sponsorship opportunity will achieve great success for all involved. Additional information on Mark C. Lowery is available at www.jkentertainmentinc.com.
