Cable TV Ratings for Week of Nov. 19 – 25
'I Love NY' is No.1 for third consecutive week; BET, TBS tie for top network

(November 30, 2007) Black cable viewers again sent the VH1 series, “I Love New York” to No.1 for the third week in-a-row. “Monday Night Football” was the second most watched cable show for the week (it was No.1 in white households).

BET was able to finish off the November sweeps period with a good showing. It tied with TBS (home of “House of Payne”) for the title of week most popular network with six shows on the chart. VH1, Disney and Nickelodeon had a three-way tie for second with three shows each.

The total number of black viewers watching the top 25 cable shows was 30 million, an increase of 3.8 percent over the previous week’s total.
