Black TV Ratings for Week of Nov. 21 - 27
Black households push TV viewing aside when it comes to Thanksgiving

(November 30, 2011) It may have been a holiday, and there were likely more eyeballs watching one television than usual, but in the fourth week of November, none of the Top 25 favorites shows in black households aired on Thanksgiving evening.

CBS had its usual good showing, with 14.5 million watching 12 of its shows, making it the most watched TV network. ABC followed with about half as many viewers for just three shows. Fox was close by, claiming 6.8 million for five programs.

Nielsen recorded 35.1 million black viewers watching the Top 25 TV shows, or 15 percent fewer than the week before.
