Black Cable TV Ratings for Week of November 9 - 15
'Monday Night Football' again takes No.1 on cable's Top 25

(November 13, 2009) TBS widened the gap among the popular cable shows in black households, even with one less program from the Tyler Perry comedy block than the previous week. Other than ESPN's usual top ranked Monday Night Football, the top of the cable chart was all TBS.

TBS maintained its title as most watched cable network of the week, with 12 million viewers tuning in six of its chart making shows. ESPN followed in second place with 6.6 million for five NBA games. BET fell to third with 5.3 million watchers for six programs.

The total number of viewers for the Top 25 most popular cable shows in black homes, according to Nielsen, increased four percent over the previous week to 31.2 million.
