Black TV Ratings for Week of November 5 - 11
During week of election night euphoria, network TV lost Black audiences

(November 14, 2012) A shift in viewing among Black network TV audiences continued in the first week of November. Both CBS and NBC saw shows other than the usual favorites come onto the Top 25 list, including "Bob's Burgers" and "Chicago Fire." A migration by Black viewers to cable during primetime started with the football and political season. It seems that it may be continuing with the start of NBA basketball, turning the popularity of CBS' programs into a juggernaut for the first week of November.

NBC was the most watched network with 12.3 million viewers across eight programs. CBS took second place posting 8.6 million watchers over nine shows. ABC was third with 5.8 million for four shows.

The total number of viewers watching the Top 25 TV shows, according to Nielsen, was down 10 percent to 31.5 million.
