Black Cable TV Ratings for Week of Oct. 26 - Nov. 1
VH1, OWN give NFL a run for its money by beating Monday Night Football

(November 6, 2015) The Baltimore Ravens and the Arizona Cardinals lacked sufficient appeal to help Monday Night Football break the two million mark with black viewers on Oct. 26th. That gave VH1 and OWN an opening to snatch the No.1 and No.2 spots on The Top 25 cable shows chart.

The overall winner for the last week of October was BET, which claimed the most watched cable network title with 6.6 million viewers across seven shows. ESPN was second with 5.3 million for five shows, followed VH1 with 4.8 million for three programs.

The total number of viewers for the Top 25 most popular cable shows, according to Nielsen, was up 5.6 percent from the previous week to 27.8 million.
