Black TV Ratings for Week of Oct. 29 - Nov. 4
As
Black audiences drift further to cable, CBS claims 18 hit TV shows on
Top 25 chart
(November 6, 2012) A migration by Black viewers to cable during
primetime started with the football and political season. It seems that
it may be continuing with the start of NBA basketball, turning the
popularity of CBS’ programs into a juggernaut for the first week of
November.
CBS’s primetime lineup dominated the Top 25 chart of most popular TV
shows,. It easily claimed the mantle of the most watched network with
18.3 million viewers across 15 shows. NBC had 12.3 million for just six
shows, while Fox posted only 4.9 million for two programs.
The total number of viewers for the Top 25, according to Nielsen, was
35.2 million -- 12% more than the previous week.
