Black TV Ratings for Week of October 24 - 30
Football, baseball occupy the Top 25 chart of black households' TV favorites

(November 2, 2011) It's no surprised that the NFL drew the usual amount of attention from black TV viewers. Less expected perhaps was the strong showing for the final two games of the World Series, both of which claimed 1.8 million black viewers for Fox.

CBS was the most watched network of the week, with 22 million for 12 shows. NBC took second place, thanks again to its football programming helping to pull 11.1 million across four shows. ABC was third at 9.1 million for six programs.

The total number of viewers for the Top 25 shows in black homes was 48.4 according to Nielsen data. That's a 12 percent increase over the previous week's 43.1 million.
