UniWorld Group agency a multiple winner at the ANA Multicultural Excellence Awards

(October 30, 2012) The Association of National Advertisers has announced the winners for the 2012 Multicultural Excellence Awards.  The awards recognize ANA member companies and other marketers who produced industry leading multicultural advertising campaigns between June 2011 and June 2012.

The 2012 grand prize winner in each category was announced Oct. 30th at a ceremony during ANA's 14th Annual Multicultural Marketing & Diversity Conference at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach in Miami, Florida.

UniWorld Group was the winning ad agency in two categories of the nine categories. UWG was recognized for its African-American its work for African-American ads for  Ford Motor Co., and its print campaign for Marine Corps Recruiting Command.

The other 2012 grand prize brand and agency winners were:

- Xoom with the agency Dieste for the Hispanic category

- Western Union and New A in the Asian category

- Allstate and Leo Burnett for the LGBT category

- Heineken and the Vidal Partnership for digital media

- Alma DDB for McDonald's in radio

- Rosetta Stone with Alma DDB for campaign with significant results

- General Motors and LatinWorks for general marketing
