Black Cable TV Ratings for Week of October 19 - 25
For the third consecutive week, the NFL is back at No.1 of favorite cable shows

(October 28, 2015) The NFL is back. After getting bounced from its usual No.1 position four weeks ago, "Monday Night Football" on ESPN was the most popular cable show in black households for the third consecutive week. VH1's "Love & Hip Hop Hollywood" and  "Black Ink Crew" took second and third position respectively, and BET's "Being Mary Jane" claimed the forth and fifth spots.

Those two shows paved the way for VH1 to claim most watched cable network title, with 5.9 million viewers for three of its shows. BET was a close second in the network viewing category with 5.2 million across four of charted shows. ESPN took third with 2.4 million for its Giants vs. Eagles game.

The total number of viewers for the Top 25 favorite cable shows in black households, according to Nielsen, was down 8.4 percent from the previous week to 26.3 million.
