Premiere Radio names Dennis Brownlee vice president/managing director (October 26, 2005) Premiere Radio Networks has announced that Dennis J. Brownlee has been appointed Vice President/Managing Director Urban Sales and Marketing. Brownlee's primary focus will be developing relationships with high-level agency management and clients to position Premiere's Urban properties. Based in New York City, he will report to Rhonda Scheidel, Executive Vice President/Director of Sales for Premiere Radio Networks. "With his innate ability to create mutually beneficial opportunities for us and our advertisers, Dennis will be an exceptional addition to our team," said Scheidel. "Having worked with him on our Black Enterprise initiative while he was at Clear Channel, I've come to learn that his previous experience of creating and operating a successful cable TV operation provides him with a proven flare for relating our Urban platform to agencies and clients." Brownlee comes to Premiere with more than 25 years experience in radio, cable/satellite television, and information technology. His most recent position was Managing Director, Clear Channel Marketing Partnerships where he developed integrated marketing strategies involving radio, outdoor advertising, SFX Sports and entertainment assets. He also managed and initiated opportunities for development of new revenues from the African American market segment with urban-focused businesses and interest groups. Brownlee is the founder of New Urban Entertainment Television Inc. and ADVANCE Inc. and served as CEO for both companies. He also served as Vice President of United States Satellite Broadcasting Co. Inc. Brownlee attended George Washington University and American University for graduate studies after graduating from Princeton University, where he's currently a trustee.
