NAMIC announces new officers for 2006 board of directors

(October 21, 2005) NAMIC (National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications) today announced its new 2006 Board of Directors.

"With the incoming members, NAMIC strengthens the board's diversity of talent, company background and ethnicity, said Manish Jha, President of NAMIC. "These professionals, representing the leading media companies in the world, join the NAMIC board and the cable industry's ongoing commitment to diversifying the ethnicity of the faces that appear on the screens and that work behind scenes in the cable and telecommunications industry."

NAMIC is a 25-year-old non-profit trade organization focusing on ethnic diversity in the communications industry. It is comprised of nearly 2,000 professionals belonging to a network of chapters nationwide.
