Black Cable TV Ratings for Week of October 8 - 14
BET
outscores 'Monday Night Football' for the week's most popular cable
shows
(October 18, 2012) The second week of October was good for BET. The
cable network had the two shows with the largest audiences, "The Hip Hop
Awards" and the premiere of "Keyshia & Daniel: Family First." "Monday
Night Football" was rated No.1 based on its greater share of the total
percent of African-American households.
BET was the most viewed cable network of the week, with 7.0 million
viewers watching across three shows. Disney was second with 6.7 million
viewing seven of its programs. VH1 had to settle for third place with
3.5 million viewers for three of its shows.
The total number of viewers watching the Top 25 shows in Black
households was 29.8 million, or 7% fewer than the previous week.
