Black TV Ratings for Week of October 3 - 9
CBS dominates the competition as old favorites still draw black viewers

(October 11, 2011) All things have remained equal for the big four TV networks when it comes to the viewing habits of black households. Only CBS' "Unforgettable" and ABC's "Body of Proof" made it onto the Top 25 for the first week of October. Curiosity may have already waned for "Person of Interest." and "Charlie's Angels," two  new shows that made last week's chart.

CBS retains title of most watched network with 22.6 million tuning in 12 shows on the Top 25. NBC has football to thank for second place with 10.3 million for five shows. ABC pulled in 8.7 million for six programs and third place.

The Top 25 shows had a nearly three percent gain in total viewers to 46.1 million, according to Nielsen data.
