Carol Watson joins Future Work Institute as chief marketing officer, managing director

(September 22, 2013) The FutureWork Institute has announced that Carol Watson has joined the firm as a Managing Director and Chief Marketing Officer. Carol is an experienced cultural inclusion marketing executive and a diverse talent acquisition and retention strategist and thought leader.

The FutureWork Institute is a global consulting firm with a 25-year history in the diversity and inclusion space. It translates future trends in the workplace and marketplace to unleash the full potential of diversity and inclusion for business results.

Carol was founder/President of Tangerine Watson, Inc., the largest cross-cultural talent consultancy serving the advertising, marketing and media industries. She has worked with the largest agency, media and consumer brands, designed and executed the first definitive, industry-wide study of diverse advertising professionals, The Impact Study, and produces Thrive, an original content professional development publication.

Her Board leadership includes Presidency of AWNY (Advertising Women of NY) and Board Advisor of Women at NBCU. Carol has been featured in the NY Times, Crain’s, Ad Age and Black Enterprise, is a frequent industry contributor, panelist and keynote speaker.  She is also an ICF certified Executive Coach and MSOD candidate.

Prior to founding Tangerine Watson Inc., Carol was a senior executive in the advertising and media industry holding Senior Executive positions in advertising at The New York Times, Essence, and Publisher of Vibe Magazine.
