Decisive Media honored with Gold Ink Awards for magazine design, quality

(September 10, 2011) Printing Impressions magazine, producer of the annual Gold Ink Awards, announced Decisive Media has won Gold Ink Awards for its magazines Decisive and Decisive Latino in the magazines category.

This year’s Gold Ink Award winners were chosen from more than 1,000 entries submitted within 46 different categories, including Books, Magazines, Digital Printing, Commercial Printing, Packaging, Catalogs, Direct Mail, Brochures, Annual Reports, Calendars, Posters and many more

Winning pieces were chosen based on print quality, technical difficulty and overall visual effect. The Gold Ink Awards & Hall of Fame Gala, co-sponsored by Heidelberg, took place Monday evening, September 12, 2011, at the Hyatt McCormick Place Hotel in Chicago, during Graphics Expo 2011.

"Congratulations to our editorial and production teams for producing a top quality magazine," said Randi Payton, president of Decisive Media.  Members of the editorial and production teams include:  Joyce Gates, Production Director; Lyndon Bell,  Editor-In-Chief; Valerie Menard, Latino Associate Publisher/Editor; Fran Sherman, Art Director; and Tepel Brothers Printing.
