Black TV Ratings for Week of August 19 - 26
Black viewers' TV habit remain the same for the final viewing days of summer

(August 29, 2012) There were no surprises in the TV habits of Black households during the third full week of August. Since Fox didn't air a football game, NBC and CBS took the No.1 and 2 spots respectively. The cooking shows continued to hold interest, along with the usual Top 25 favorites.

CBS re-claimed the mantle of most watched TV network with eight million viewers across ten of its charted shows. Fox followed with 4.6 million for six shows, and ABC had 4.2 million also attracted to six programs.

The total number of viewers for the Top 25, according to Nielsen, was up slightly by two percent to 20.3 million.
