Black Cable TV Ratings for Week  August 12 - 18
OWN's Have and Have Nots moves past BET on Top 25 while VH1 stays in first

(August 22, 2013) Don't rub your eyes, because the Top 25 cable ratings chart for the second week in August looks a lot like the first week. Black viewers gave VH1 shows the top three spots. The OWN network's Have and Have Nots moved up from No.6 to No. 4. and past BET's The Game with more than 2two million viewers for the first time.

VH1 remained the most watched cable network with 11.2 million for four shows. BET was second with 8.2 million across seven programs. And the OWN network stayed in third place with five million for five shows.

The total number of viewers watching the Top 25 cable shows, according to Nielsen, was down three percent from the previous week to 31.9 million.
