Black TV Ratings for Week of August 5- 11
CBS captures half of the Top 25 viewers as network TV plods through summer

(August 13, 2013) As the original summer programming capturing the interest of black viewers, CBS returned to No.1 on the Top 25 with Under The Dome. It was the only network TV show to pull in at least one million black viewers.

CBS was far and away the most watched TV network, with 8.7 million watching across 13 of its shows. NBC followed with 3.6 million for five shows and ABC had 2.9 million also with five shows.

Nielsen recorded 16.5 million total viewers for all of the Top 25 most popular shows in black households during the first week in August.
