Black PR Society issues call for speakers at its 2014 conference in November

(August 8, 2014) The National Black Public Relations Society is accepting proposals for workshops and general sessions now through August 15 for its 2014 national conference that will take place on November 6-9 at The Sonesta Fort Lauderdale, 999 N Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd in Fort Lauderdale.
With the theme, Power PR! Equip! Adapt! Conquer! speakers should demonstrate expertise in social media, PR & brand strategy, crisis communication, technology, metrics and measurement, entrepreneurship, corporate social responsibility, research topics, issues in higher education, and more.
"We are looking for the industry's power players, change agents and rainmakers that can share with our delegates innovative solutions for the practice of public relations in the ever-changing economic, social and political landscape," said Richelle Payne (pictured), president of the NBPRS board of directors. "This year's conference is an incredible opportunity to recharge, hear from renowned experts, network for career and business opportunities and visit with recruiters, leadership and business coaches and various vendors and exhibitors."
