Power of Urban Radio Forum to highlight corporations with $100 bil in
media buys
(August 6, 2012) Kizart Media Partners, Inc. will host its 12th Power of
Urban Radio Forum in partnership with the National Association of Black
Owned Broadcasters (NABOB) on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at the Omni
Hotel in Washington, DC. This will be an unprecedented forum of CEOs
and global marketers that includes General Motors, American Family
Insurance, Coca Cola, Walgreens, AARP and BMW North America. Steve
Pemberton, Chief Diversity Officer of Walgreens will deliver the keynote
address focusing on the importance of the African American consumer
market.

built its African American marketing and media model that corporate
America aspires to build,” states urban sales and media expert Sherman
K. Kizart, founder and managing director of Kizart Media Partners, Inc.
Executives responsible for over $100 billion in media buying decisions
will be in attendance at the forum including African American
advertising agency media directors, global media agency planners and
chief marketing officers of major corporations. FCC Commissioner Robert
McDowell and Bill Koenigsberg, Chairman and CEO of Horizon Media will
also take part in special presentations.
Media agency sessions will include executives from OMD (Omnicom Media
Group), Zenith Optimedia, Horizon Media, Starcom, Campbell Ewald and
Carat. Ken Smikle, President of Target Market News, will serve as lead
moderator for the panel discussions. Co-chairmen for the forum are
Chris Wegmann, Regional Vice President & Market Manager for Radio One,
Jim Watkins, Vice President & General Manager for WHUR and Steve
Swenson, Senior Vice President & Market Manager for CBS Radio.
