The
Week of July 23 – 29
CBS’s 'CSI'
franchise holds on to top of the chart and the week’s No.1 net (August
2, 2007) African-American households continued to cast their vote with
CBS’s “CSI:NY” as the most popular show, followed by “CSI: Miami.” Fox had
to settle for third and fourth place on the top 25 with its Summer
replacement shows, “So You Think You Can Dance” and “Don’t Forget The
Lyrics.”
The week winning network title went to CBS, which bested its tie with Fox
last week with eight entries on the chart. Fox followed, again with six
shows. The CW claimed five winners, while ABC had four and NBC two.
According to Nielsen, the total number of black households watching the
top 25 shows dropped slightly by 4 percent over the previous week to 19.9
million.
