The Week
of July 16 - 22 'CSI'
takes the week’s top two spots; CBS and Fox tie for leading network (July
24, 2007) Summer is shining favorably on CBS’s franchise drama, “CSI,”
which delivered a first- and second-place win for the network during the
third week of July. CBS also took third and fourth place with “Shark”and
“Criminal Minds” completing the crime shows’ sweep.
CBS’s six chart entries tied with Fox, making both the week’s leading
networks among black households. ABC followed with four shows, while the
CW and NBC both posted four.
The total number of black households watching the top 25 shows, according
to Nielsen Media Research, was 21 million, or five percent more than the
previous week’s total.
