Black TV Ratings for Week of July 9 - 15
Summer TV viewing in Black households continues to fall after July 4th holiday

(July 18, 2012) The usual drop off in summer TV viewing continues among Black viewers as they flock to cable for fresh programs. and to escape re-runs. Only one show was able to pull at least one million Black viewers -- "America's Got Talent." Even the Major League Baseball All-Star game attracted just 845,000, down from 914,000 last year.

CBS was the most watched TV network, totaling 6.6. million across 10 shows. Fox claimed 4.9 million for six shows, with ABC taking 4.4 million for six of its shows.

The total audience for the Top 25 TV shows, according to Nielsen data, was down four percent from the previous week to 18.4 million.
