(July 22, 2015) The website is bringing its consumer-targeted information on the auto industry to public radio. The site's founder Jeff Fortson (left) has struck an agreement with Atlanta-based WCLK-FM to carry his a new 30-minute program, Auto Trends beginning this month. The station, known as Jazz 91.9, is based at Clark-Atlanta University, a historically black college, will air the program on the last Saturday of each month.

Jeff Fortson brings his 25 plus years of involvement in the automotive industry to this latest platform. He has both automotive retail and corporate experience, including approximately 8 years with the Chrysler Corporation, worked with dealers in Iowa, Michigan, Wisconsin and Texas. After spending a short stint working at a highline dealership in the Atlanta area, he realized that minority consumers really didn't have a great grasp of the car-buying process.

To educate consumers, Fortson launched, an educational car-buying website, to support a series of car-buying clinics he taught around the country. Fortson's automotive insights have appeared in such newspapers and magazines as the Washington Post, Black Enterprise and Essence.

Currently, Auto Trends With, can be heard on the last Saturday of each month at 7:30 a.m. E.S.T. on 91.9 WCLK. Listeners outside of Atlanta can also tune-in, driving over to or by accessing 91.9 WCLK on the tunein radio app, too. Fortson's premiere show airs on Saturday, July 25. His first guest will be industry influencer Renee Stephens, J. D. Power's vice president of US Auto Quality. Stephens and Fortson will discuss the top and bottom brands in terms of vehicle quality, some of the biases of their survey reporting system and how they differ from Consumer Reports.
