Black TV Ratings for Week of July 1 - 7
CBS' Under The Dome stays on top in summer TV programming with black viewers

(July 10, 2013) Overall numbers for summer TV viewing continue to plunge as folks opt for the great outdoors. Once again there was only one show able to appeal to a million black viewers, CBS' Under The Dome. The sci-thriller lead the network to another winning week.

CBS had the largest number of black viewers during the July 4th holiday week with 7.9 million across 12 shows. NBC was again the second most watched network posting four million viewers over six programs. ABC was third with 2.4 million for four shows.

The total number of viewers for the top 25 shows in black households, reported Nielsen, was down 25 percent to 13.8 million.
