Black TV Ratings for Week of July 2 - 8
'Person of Interest' takes the No.1 spot on the week's Top 25 TV shows

(July 11, 2012) CBS's "Person of Interest," which star Taraji P. Henson, captured the No.1 spot on the Top 25 of TV favorites in Black households during the Fourth of July holiday week. In a week in which no TV program claimed a million Black viewers, CBS attracted the most attention.

CBS was the most watched network during the holiday with 6.5 million tuning in nine shows. ABC followed with 4.4 million for six shows, and Fox was third with 4.2 million across five programs.

Nielsen data showed 19.3 million total viewers for the Top 25 TV shows, which was three percent less than the previous week's total audience.
