Barbara C. Williams to be agency's account supervisor

6, 2006) IMAGES USA, a full service multicultural marketing communications
company, welcomes Barbara C. Williams as Account Supervisor. In this role,
she manages major agency accounts including Amtrak, Wachovia, and Proctor
& Gamble, and assists with new business development. Barbara brings more
than ten years of both brand management, entrepreneurial, and marketing
agency experience to IMAGES USA.
About her new position, Barbara states, “This opportunity means a lot to
me. I look forward to utilizing my marketing and PR experience to garner
results that coincide with the clients’ objectives. Also, I’d like to
share my knowledge and skills with IMAGES’ impressive talent.”
Prior to joining IMAGES USA, Barbara served as a senior account executive
at a direct marketing agency where she managed a fundraising campaign,
including direct mail, telemarketing, and direct response TV, for an
international advocacy and relief organization.
Also, she served as a Freelance Marketing Consultant, and her clients
included T.D. Jakes Ministries/MegaFest 2005 and Griot Soul Recordings
where she developed and managed sponsorship initiatives and communication
strategies to increase attendance and awareness. Barbara holds a BA in
Mass Media Arts and an MBA in Marketing from Clark Atlanta University.

'Buying Power' report shows black consumers spending more on home life
As the American economy continues to move sluggishly,
African-American households are curtailing their spending in many
categories, including food, clothing and basic household items, while
investing more in home repair, home entertainment and consumer
electronics. Although they are trimming back, black consumers are still
spending more than their white counterparts on most of these products.
