Black TV Ratings for Week of June 10 - 16
NBA Finals provided big lift for ABC with black fans as summer ratings falling

(June 27, 2013) The NBA Finals gave ABC network a much needed lift in the ratings, as black viewers continue to watch less TV and more of what cable has to offer. Games 3, 4 and 5 attracted at least one million fewer black viewers than last year's, but other than "The Voice," NBA-related broadcasts were the only programs to notch at least a million viewers.

Thanks to the NBA, ABC was the week's most watched TV network in black homes. it had 26.5 million viewers across 12 programs. CBS was a very distant second with 5.5 million for seven shows. NBC claimed  3.6 million with four shows.

The total numbers of viewers for the Top 25 most watched shows increased 19 percent to 37.2 million, according to Nielsen data.
