Black Cable TV Ratings for Week June 10 - 16
OWN network's 'Have and Have Nots' moves to third place on the Top 25 cable chart
(June 27, 2013) Fortunes continue to improve for the OWN network, thanks to the growing popularity of the two original dramas from Tyler Perry Productions. "The Haves and the Have Nots" and "Love Thy Neighbor" both found places among the top 10 cable shows in black households.
The most watched network was VH1 with 5.9 million tuning in three of its shows. In second place was Disney with 4.3 million across seven shows. The OWN network claimed 3.2 million for three shows and third place.
The total number of viewers for the Top 25 cable shows in black homes was 22.8 million, or 18 percent less than the previous week.
