Diversity City Media
creates a new identity and plans to launch more online brands
(June
14, 2007) Diversity City Media, an award-winning multicultural marketing
and PR firm, is paving the way for the online marketing industry. The
firm, which was nominated for a 2006 Black Enterprise Small Business
Award, is primarily known for its production of BlackNews.com and
BlackPR.com -- but has much more in the works.
Just recently, they established a new corporate identity with the relaunch
of their corporate web site -- DiversityCity.com. In addition to the web
site, the new identity consists of a new company logo, and plans to launch
several more online brands.
The first of the new brands is BlackExperts.com -- an online directory for
African American speakers, authors and experts. The site launched in May
2007.
Secondly, is BlackSpeakers.com -- a sister site to BlackExperts.com that
offers a different entry point for meeting planners looking to find
African American speakers. This site will launch in July 2007.
Thirdly is the launch of the African American Mortgage Education Tour (TM)
to kick-off in August 2007 in Michigan. This tour will visit every major
U.S. city, offering a free seminar on home ownership and predatory
lending.
"Our goal is to keep moving forward with new and innovative ideas," says,
Dante Lee (above), the 26-year old president and CEO of the company. "We
love to create services that become resources to the African American
community, while simultaneously allowing advertisers to market to this
powerful consumer group."
Headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, Diversity City Media has a staff of six
and annual revenues of $500,000. They have plans in the near future to
open a second office in Southern California.
The firm will soon announce an official joint venture with HBCU Connect
and their president and CEO, William Moss. HBCU Connect owns the largest
online destination for HBCU students and alumni, and they recently
acquired HBCU.com
Clients of both firms include Verizon, McDonald's, NASCAR, BET, Nissan,
Infiniti, Nationwide Insurance, Starbucks and many more.
