Allied Integrated Marketing names Erika Bennett VP of African-American division

(June 10, 2013) Allied Integrated Marketing announced today it has tapped Erika Bennett to serve as Vice President of its African-American marketing division, Allied Moxy. The division creates innovative campaigns that integrate publicity, promotions, digital and grassroots outreach to speak directly to the full diversity of African-American consumers.

"I am thrilled to join Allied Moxy during such an exciting time for the division," remarked Bennett. "The group has experienced tremendous growth over the past year and I am excited to build on that momentum as we look to innovate and expand our services to continue to help our clients reach the African American audience."

Bennett brings with her a track record of building comprehensive publicity and promotional programs that spark conversations and generate interaction between brands and consumers.  She was most recently at PMK*BNC where she developed and executed campaigns for several consumer lifestyle and entertainment brands including T-Mobile and Activision.

In addition to this experience, Bennett previously held positions at Roll Global, Edelman Public Relations and Cohn & Wolfe PR.  Bennett's early days in the business began with work for famed publicist Ronni Chasen on Golden Globe and Academy Awards campaigns for Fox Searchlight and Lionsgate.

"Allied Moxy offers our clients a fresh and unique approach to reaching the African American consumer. Erika's creativity and experience will add leadership and insight to the team, and will enable the division to continue to broaden its services and build successful targeted campaigns," said Allied President Clint Kendall.

To date, Allied Moxy has successfully executed key campaigns for clients such as Warner Bros. Pictures, AwesomenessTV, Paramount Pictures and most recently with Universal Pictures on its film Fast and Furious 6 which recently opened in theaters Memorial Day weekend.

Allied Integrated Marketing delivers effective campaigns on a local, regional and national level, leveraging its network of 22 offices in the U.S., Toronto and London.  Allied works with many of the best brands in entertainment and consumer marketing, and was named the #1 agency for Entertainment marketing in the 2012 PROMO 100 rankings.  For more information about how Allied drives results for its clients, please visit www.alliedim.com.
