Shadow League Digital promotes Yussuf Khan to GM, Senior Vice President

(June 7, 2013) Keith Clinkscales, Founder and CEO of Shadow League Digital and, announced today that Yussuf Khan has been named General Manager, Senior Vice President of National Sales. Khan, who joined the company as Vice President, National Ad Sales, will continue to report to Clinkscales, and will oversee all aspects of The editorial, sales and administrative staff will report to him.
"Yussuf has made material impact during his tenure at The Shadow League," said Clinkscales. "He has diligently collaborated with editorial in order to drive audience expansion, while positioning the company to successfully establish significant client partnerships."
Khan has spent the past 14 years as a media/ad sales professional. He began his career as a sales planner at ESPN in 1999. Post, Khan joined CSTV (now CBS Sports Network ) where for four years he was an account executive managing business across multiple platforms. Over the past five years he has held director and vice president roles at Interactive One and Big Lead Sports with a concentration on digital.
Khan is a graduate of Trinity College, holding a B.A. in Political Science. He has a Certificate in Sports Marketing from New York University and is expected to graduate with an MBA, Media Management, from Metropolitan College of New York in December 2013.
