Black TV Ratings for Week of May 28 - June 3
CBS regains top spot with Black viewers during Memorial holiday week

(June 7, 2012) All of the broadcast networks that are not ABC were able to improve their position with Black viewers during the Memorial Day holiday week. Now that "Scandal" and "Dancing with the Stars" had their season finale, CBS returned to its former glory in Black households.   

CBS was the most watched network, with 9.5 million viewers watching 13 of its Top 25 shows. NBC rose to second place with 4.2 million across four shows. Fox claimed 3.1 million for four shows.

According to Nielsen, the total number of viewers watching the shows on the Top 25 chart went down 28 percent from the previous week to 19.5 million.
