Black TV Ratings for Week of May 25 - 31
Memorial weekend viewing drops, top TV shows post less than a million black viewers
(June 3, 2015) The summer TV viewing patterns kicked in for the memorial Day weekend, and none of the Top 25 shows in black households managed to attract at least a million viewers. All of the week's heavy viewing could be found on cable.
CBS let the pack among viewers, with 9.6 million for 13 of its shows. ABC followed with just 3.3 million for five shows. NBC was third with just three million across four programs.
The total number of viewers for the most watched shows during the last week of May, according to Nielsen, was down 17 percent from the previous week to 18 million.
