of May 21 – 27 NBA Playoffs
draw men back to cable to give TNT top spots and network win

1, 2007) It’s game on for the NBA playoffs, and the win or go home
atmosphere attracted male viewers in black households back to the remote
control. TNT was week’s dominant player, with basketball taking the top
three spots on the top 25 chart and nine positions overall.
TNT was easily the week’s top network with seven entries. Second was BET
with four, followed by VH1 which posted three shows.
The total number of black households watching the top 25 shows during the
fourth week of May, according to Nielsen data, was 15.9 million. That’s a
ten percent drop from the previous week’s total.
