Black Cable TV Ratings for Week of May 4 - 10
Second week of NBA semifinals drops more than 16 percent among black viewers

(May 22 , 2015) While its games remained the most popular viewing for black cable TV households, the NBA semifinals saw a drop of 16.7 percent among black viewers from the previous week. With only two slots less on the Top 25 cable chart from last week, the NBA lost nearly three million black viewers.

TNTís showing of the games made it the most-watched cable network with 12 million for eight games. VH1 followed with 5.7 million across four programs. OWN took third with 3.6 million also for four shows.

The total number of viewers for the Top 25 cable shows in black homes, according to Nielsen, was up six percent to 32.5 million.
