Jamie Foxx launches
The Foxxhole Channel exclusively on SIRIUS Satellite Radio (May
22, 2007) SIRIUS Satellite Radio today announced the launch of The
Foxxhole, Jamie Foxx's exclusive 24/7 comedy, music and entertainment
channel. Jamie Foxx, Academy Award-winning actor, American Music
Award-winning and GRAMMY nominated artist, and comedian is the channel's
executive producer and will broadcast live from around the world.
Foxx will broadcast live on The Foxxhole from wherever he is in the world.
Listeners can tune in to find out when he will be on the air, and like
Foxx himself, the material he delivers will be unpredictable. From riffing
through jokes to transforming into both well-known and just-invented
characters, to playing music and hanging out with a variety of cool
people, anything is possible.
Foxx's roots are in comedy and he has since branched out to award-winning
music and acting projects: The Foxxhole ties all three of his worlds
together. The channel features original comedy bits and sketches, as well
as new comedic and musical talent never heard before. In addition, The
Foxxhole features material from the comedy legends Foxx has listened to
and admired his whole life. Foxx's friends from the music industry may
even stop by to debut their new singles, albums, and material.
SIRIUS, "The Best Radio on Radio," delivers more than 130 channels of the
best programming in all of radio. SIRIUS is the original and only home of
100% commercial free music channels in satellite radio, offering 69 music
channels. SIRIUS also delivers 65 channels of sports, news, talk,
