Polk promotes Marc Bland to Vice President of Diversity Marketing Practice

(April 29, 2013) Polk, the premier provider of automotive information and marketing solutions, has announced that it has promoted Marc Bland to Vice President of Diversity Marketing Practice. He will continue his focus on developing strategies for multicultural markets.

Bland, a member of the Polk team since 1999, has held several roles within the organization, including senior systems developer, solutions consultant, manager of the analytic solutions production team and head of diversity and inclusion. During his career at Polk, Bland has been instrumental in helping the company reach multicultural agencies, as well as managing Polk's relationships with diversity affiliations including the Rainbow PUSH Coalition and the National Association of Minority Auto Dealers (NAMAD) among others. Last year Bland was honored as Research Executive of the Year by Target Market News' Marketing to African-Americans with Excellence (MAAX) Awards.

In addition to Bland, three other Polk employees have been recognized for their commitment and contributions within the global automotive market intelligence company and have been appointed to new roles within the organization. Theresa Gorman, sales and client services, Eastern Region; and Anthony Pratt, forecasting, the Americas have been promoted to vice president. Additionally, Lonnie Miller has taken a new role as vice president of Polk's Loyalty Management practice.
