Black Cable TV Ratings for Week  April 8 - 14
For the first time in weeks, Iyanla and La Toya give OWN network shows on Top 25 chart

(April 17, 2013) The OWN Network has said that it recognizes the importance and opportunity of doing more to attract African-American viewers. Even after coming up with winning shows, it hasn't been able to sustain enough interest to stay represented on the Top 25 chart of Black viewers' favorite shows. "Iyanla: Fix My Life" and "Life With La Toya" both found themselves among this week's favorites and were the only adult-oriented Saturday night shows on the chart.

Bravo was the week's most watched cable network, though it pulled only 5.8 million viewers (2+) for three shows. BET had4.8million across four shows. followed by VH1's 4.4 million for four shows.

The total number of viewers watching the Top 25, according to Nielsen, was 27.3 million, or three percent less than the previous week.
