Black Cable TV Ratings for Week of April 6 - 12
VH1's 'Love & Hip Hop' gets first No.1 spot on Top 25 for its fifth season

(April 15, 2015) Celebrating it's fifth year as VH1's highest rated docu-drama series, "Love & Hip Hop" took its first No.1 spot for the season on the Top 25 cable chart. While drawing significantly fewer viewers than did OWN's "Have and the Have Nots," L&HH is helped by being shown twice on Monday nights, before and after "Black Ink Crew."

VH1 took over the most watched cable network in black households title, with just 4.47 million viewers across four shows on the chart. Bravo tied for first with 4.4 million for four of its shows as well. OWN claimed 3.8 million for four of its charted shows.

The total number of viewers for the Top 25 cable shows in black homes, according to Nielsen, was down 17 percent from the previous week to 24.4 million.
