Black TV Ratings for Week of April 6 - 12
Black households showed continued loyalty to NCAA Championship basketball  

(April 14, 2015) The NCAA enjoyed another record-setting televised journey on the Road to the Final Four. The title championship game between Duke and Wisconsin attracted 3.882 million total black viewers, making them 13.7 percent of the total TV audience and 18 percent greater than the total black viewership for last year's final game.

College basketball sealed CBS dominance for the week as the most watched TV network in black homes. It had 16.2 million viewers for its 11 shows on the Top 25. NBC was second with 7.2 million across seven shows., followed by ABC with 6.5 million for six programs on the chart.

The total number of viewers for the Top 25 during the first week of April, according to Nielsen, was up 10 percent over the previous week to 31.2 million.
