Black Cable TV Ratings for Week Mar. 31- Apr. 6
BET remains cable's top network in the Top 25 for fourth straight week

(April 11, 2014) BET enjoyed a big boost in viewership, including taking the No.1 spot on the Top 25 for the first week of April. Its "Celebration of Gospel" edged out Bravo's Real Housewives" and led the way for BET's overall win.

BET was the most watched network among the Top 25 cable channels, with 8.8 million tuning in five of its shows. VH1 was a distant second, posting 6.8 million across four of its shows. Bravo was third with 5.7 for three shows.

The total number of viewers for the Top 25 cable TV shows, according to Nielsen, was up seven percent from the previous week to 35 million.
