Cable TV Ratings for Week of April 2 - 8
BET's 90-minute block for 'The Game' continues its ratings dominance
(April
10, 2012) The No.1 one cable show in black households continues to be
BET's "The Game." While that might change as the NBA Playoff season
approaches, the back-to-back block still anchors BET as the most watched
cable network among African-Americans in prime time.
BET claimed 6.1 million viewers for its six shows on the Top 25 cable
shows in black homes. VH1 tagged second place with 4.1 million viewing
four of its shows. The Disney channel had 3.2 million for four shows for
third place.
According to Nielsen, the total number of viewers for the Top 25 dropped
14 percent from the previous week to 24.3 million.
