Black TV Ratings for Week of Mar. 31 - Apr. 6
'Scandal' still captures twice as many black viewers as any other TV show

(April 10, 2014) When lots of men left TV behind at the end of the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship game, black women held fast to ABC's political drama, "Scandal." The show stayed in the No.1 spot on the Top 25 chart for a fifth consecutive week.

CBS continued to reign as the most watched network among the Top 25 with 12.6 million black viewers across 12 of its highest rated shows. ABC was second with 8.8 million for six programs, and NBC took third with 5.4 million for five shows.

The total number of viewers for the Top 25 dropped 16 percent from the previous week, according to Nielsen, to 28.7 million.
