Black Cable TV Ratings for Week  April 1 - 7
'Real Housewives' beats 'The Game' by a half million viewers for No.1 cable spot

(April 10, 2013) As is usually the case during spring break, younger viewers take control of the remote and flock to the Disney channel. This year was no exception, and the channel offered competition to both BET and Bravo, especially on Sunday night.

Disney had enough total prime time audience during the first week of April to earn the most watched network title, with 8.4 million viewers (2+) watching nine of its shows. In second was BET with 5.8 million viewers over four shows. Bravo took third with 4.7 millions watchers across three shows.

The total audience for the Top 25 cable shows as recorded by Nielsen was up eight percent to 28.5 million.
