Integrated Multicultural Media Solutions launches media management services

(April 9, 2013) Longtime media entrepreneur Pluria Marshall Jr. has launched a newly expanded media planning and buying firm that will execute advertising buys across all media -- digital, radio, television, newspapers and magazines. The privately owned company, Integrated Multicultural Media Solutions (IMMS) now becomes the nation's only certified, full-service African-American media management company, Marshall said, uniquely positioned to serve the broader needs of advertisers and agencies.

"Too often, media agencies lack meaningful knowledge about how to effectively reach consumers in diverse communities -- especially black communities," said Marshall, president and chief executive of IMMS. "That's not a mistake you can afford to make with a black consumer base that's expected to spend more than $1 trillion on goods and services in the U.S. this year."

Founded in 2012, IMMS is an ideal strategic partner for any advertiser or agency seeking experts in multicultural media planning and buying, Marshall said.

"Our team of experts and media professionals has more than 100 years of combined media experience, from planning and buying to stewardship, marketing, editing, and creative service," Marshall said. "We've got all of your needs and goals covered."

Media expert Randy Novak, a top executive at Geomentum/NSA -- the nation's largest hyperlocal media and marketing agency -- said the experts at IMMS do what needs to be done to service client needs.

"What I love about IMMS is that you guys get in the weeds," said Novak, whose firm manages $2 billion in local billings each year.

The IMMS mission is simple and direct, Marshall said:

- Create targeted and insightful media strategies to give clients a competitive advantage.
- Get results every day through expert and successful execution.
- Help brands target a black consumer base with more than $1 trillion in annual buying power.

Robert D. Bush, vice president of sales and media, said IMMS' mission is to provide a holistic approach to media planning and servicing.

"Our commitment is to a 360-degree approach -- going well beyond the plan and the buy," Bush said. "We integrate social media, public relations, promotions, immersion strategies and event marketing to the benefit of our clients. Merging client's goals with great ideas, we create customized programs to maximize results and boost customer engagement."

Marshall, a longtime media executive, publishes The Los Angeles Wave and Los Angeles Independent newspapers in California and the Informer & Texas Freeman newspaper in Houston. He also is owner and CEO of WLTH-AM radio station in metropolitan Chicago.

His most recent creation, The Urban Digital Network, a division of IMMS, comprises over 25 news centric web sites, magazine sites and pure digital websites.

Integrated Multicultural Media Solutions (IMMS) is a privately-held, independent national media planning and buying firm. IMMS executes plans across any and all media -- digital, radio, television, newspapers, promotions and immersion -- with a goal of providing a singular framework for growing businesses.
