Bounce TV promotes Elverage Allen to EVP, adds new executives, opens West Coast sales office

(April 4, 2014) Bounce TV has announced a series of executive hirings and the opening of a west coast sales office as the network's national advertising sales division continues to grow.

Elverage Allen has been elevated to the post of Executive Vice President of Advertising Sales, overseeing all general market ad sales efforts. Allen will be based in New York and report to Bounce TV Chief Operating Officer Jonathan Katz.

Sean Woodle has been named Vice President, Ad Sales, West Coast, joining Bounce TV after nearly 20 years in the west coast sales units of ESPN and BET respectively.  He will be charged with opening and running Bounce TV's new west coast sales office and will report to Allen.

Erick Asenjo has been named Vice President of Ad Sales, joining Bounce from TV One.  He will be based in New York and report to Allen.

Gary Saginario, who came to Bounce TV from USA Networks, has been promoted to Director, Ad Sales from Account Executive.

Winnie Bernier, another former BET sales pro, joins Bounce TV as an Account Executive.

A 15-year sales veteran, Allen most recently ran Bounce TV's central sales efforts out of Chicago. Allen previously spent six years in ascending advertising sales positions at TV One, where he ultimately directed national marketing strategies and upfront and client presentations.  He also spent seven years at BET in advancing positions, managing national advertising sales and marketing efforts in the Midwest and Southern territories.

"These moves and expansion will further strengthen our efforts and help advertising partners capitalize on Bounce's growth and soaring popularity with consumers," commented Katz. "Elverage has developed and directed innovative, impactful and revenue-generating strategies throughout his career. He has had great success on behalf of Bounce in the central region of the country and now will lead those efforts on the national stage."

Woodle joins Bounce TV after eight years at ESPN, where he was one of the creators of the Multicultural Sales Team responsible for driving new business revenue toward multicultural platforms across all ESPN networks.  He previously spent 11 years at BET successfully managing and generating advertising sales revenue for the network's west coast office.

Asenjo also brings Bounce TV seasoned strategic sales business planning expertise and a proven track record of success at both TV One and BET.  In eight years with TV One, he oversaw the development of new business partnerships and created award-winning multimedia campaigns that generated impressive and successful results for clients.  Previously, he rose through the ranks across five years with BET, also focusing on new business development and forging new advertising partnerships.

Saginario has developed creative and strategic plans and delivered value to advertisers for more than 20 years. His diverse experience includes key positions with Inspiration Networks, USA Networks and other television outlets.

Bernier spent six years developing creative media solutions with BET and also worked in sales positions with Vibe Magazine, Sony Music and Tommy Boy Records.

Marathon Ventures, headed by David Brenner, will continue to be responsible for all of Bounce TV's direct response advertising.
